Produttori di Manduria
The adventure of the winery began in 1928 when a small group of "enlightened" winemakers took over an old factory and created the "Wine Federation", an association of producers which four years later, on 9 July 1932, made the wine official.

In the heel of Italy, Manduria is considered the birth place of the native Primitivo grape, and was officially recognised as such in the 1970s when a DOC was created for the region. However Produttori di Manduria had been making wines for 40 years by then, unashamedly proud of their deep affection for Primitivo.

This rare variety of native grape is picked from 15 to 20 year old espalier trained vines in the middle of September yielding around 120 quintals (4500kg) per hectare.

Bright golden yellow with delicious aromas of hawthorn and acacia, cedar, pear, pineapple, and yellow grapefruit. A savoury and citrus palate, laced with mineral saline and floral notes on the finish.
