Winemaking in Rías Baixas dates back thousands of years, but only during the past few decades has the region established a global reputation as a producer of top quality wines from its signature grape, Albariño.

The winery of Santiago Roma was born from a dream that was to produce a wine of exceptional quality following a traditional production process. Taking advantage of the family experience in the wine sector, Santiago Roma laid down his marker for quality. Thus, Santiago Roma established his own winery in 1997 with a clear objective, to create wines of high quality and with their own personality.

A more modern and competitive wine. Its name reflects its ancient roots, as the current winery's headquarters were known as "La casa de Martis", an old farmhouse.

Made with 100% Albariöo grapes, destemmed and cold pressed, with controlled fermentation between 180 and 200 C.

A bright straw hue, with Balsamic aromas Of laurel with notes of dried eucalyptus leaf and ripe apple. The palate exudes freshly cut grass, and lemon, with a measured and pleasant bitterness in the background that gives it life and suggests its harmonious combination with brothy rice and lobster, grilled vegetables, and fish, without overlooking white meats too.
