CHAMPAGNE MONTAUDON  
Montaudon remains one of the few Champagne houses still owned and run by the founding family, now in its fourth generation.  The proprietors of Montaudon are totally dedicated to the production of a range of high quality Champagnes which carry their own name and are now the 14th largest producer of Champagne. Established in 1891 in the rue Ponsardin close to the Cathedral in Reims, the house found fame in the 1930’s after signing a contract with Josephine Baker, mystical star of Revue Nègre and the Folies Bergères, to supply “First Class Champagne” for her cabaret clubs in Paris.
