Domaine Robert Sirugue
Located in Vosne-Romaneé the estate comprises 27 acres of vines
in and around Vosne. The grapes that go into their Burgundy red come from
a vineyard that is located across from Clos de Vougeot. The grapes are
hand picked then followed by a traditional Burgundian vinification. Vatting
of 15 – 20 days, aged in barrels for 16 months with 2-3 rackings
before bottling. It’s vinified in exactly the same manner as their
Vosne-Romanée and Grands Echézeaux except that there is
no new oak used in the ageing process.
