The winemaking philosophy of the Margan brand is to produce Hunter Valley wines with clear varietal and regional definition. All the wines are made in their winery Broke, a sub region of the Hunter. Oak is used with discretion- enough to add complexity but never to over-power the wine. Margan wines are characterised by being well structured and balanced but not too tannic or oakey.
